CHILDREN'S WORKSHOPS, CLASSES AND OPEN STUDIO
After-School Open Art Studio, ages 6-14, 3:30PM to 5:30PM Monday through Friday
An open art studio provides materials and an instructor to assist students in creating whatever they themselves would like to create, at their own pace. Our after-school studio for children ages 6-14 offers use of tools and materials in the class work space, a suggested daily project which students can do if they wish, and an instructor to assist them in using tools, technique or just making their creative vision a reality. Register here for After-School Open Art Studio.
PRIVATE EVENTS AND PARTIES
Create a private art event or birthday party at Rumble for up to twenty (20) guests. We'll help you design the perfect project for you and your guests, provide the space, basic decorations, project supplies and an instructor to lead the activity. You provide the guests, food and drink.
Past projects have included things like creating folk tale dioramas in a box shaped like a book; glass jar luminaries with translucent paper and botanical elements; family history mixed media collages; creating family themed Halloween costumes; dreaming up and making your own personal heraldry device; and instructor-led painting projects.

Let us help you make your next birthday party, baby or bridal shower, or any family or business event, something special: make it an art party.
You provide the guests and any food and drink you want, we provide the space, materials and tools, and an instructor to lead an original art project or self-led open studio with instructor assistance. Past events have included animal and storybook-themed children's parties, relaxing family and friends craft parties, and paint and sip parties. We work with you to create the fun art experience you want your guests to have.
We are conveniently located practically next door to a Baskin-Robbins, where they're happy to hold an ice cream cake or other treat from their store until you're ready for it, and up the road from the legendary Helen Bernhard Bakery. For adult events, we have a current OLCC license to serve wine and beer.
Private events of up to four participants start at $250.00, up to eight participants at $450.0, and $25 for each additional participant above eight. If special materials are required, there may be an extra charge to cover those. A deposit of fifty percent (50%) is required within two weeks of the scheduled event. Prior to two weeks before the event, any monies paid are refundable if the event is cancelled for any reason. This class is for you if you are new to drawing, want to improve basic skills, think you can’t learn to draw (you can!), need to get “back in shape,” or just want a no-pressure drawing experience.
Creating a drawing is like building a house, it needs a foundation and then structure and detail are added. In this class, we’ll learn basic techniques and create images in pencil, charcoal and other materials, in a relaxed, fun, supportive and accepting environment - no judgement, no grades, no standards to meet; just a good time and your best efforts at whatever stage you’re at in the moment.
